Snowflakes

I love snowflakes, no two are ever alike! This gift card, wow fold :), started with Holiday Treasures DSP. Placed some Felt Flurries and a Filigree Brad in the center (where the flap gets tucked in to keep the card shut) and wrapped a Baja Breeze Stitched ribbon with a non-SU snowflake brad as a 'belly-band' around the card. Open it up and the center 'flap' has a sentiment from Best Yet Hostess Lev 1 set inked in Baja Breeze and then snowflakes from Snow Burst inked in VersaMark and given some sparkle with Crystal Effects and glitter. Love sparkly :) TIP: CLick on any image to view it larger. The inside pouch, for a gift card or some money, is kreated with Baja Breeze. Kreated my own 'pattern paper' with some more snowflakes from Snow Burst inked in VersaMark and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder surrounding a Best Yet hostess lev 1 sentiment inked in VersaMark and also embossed with White Embossing Powder. Slip in your gift and you have a very cute and fun card!

Wow Fold

Ever have one of those days... well, I had one! Huge computer operator malfunction when trying to add a subscription link to my blog, still trying to figure it out, but I had pretty much lost my entire template for my blog and it took hours to get it back to its original state. And that wasn't even the worst of my day... broken refridge, weird repairman who kreated a leaking ceiling in my basement, kranky kids... I just want to wake up to a new day! Things could be worse though, and I have paused to be thankful that I am still very blessed despite my day!. Anyway, here is something that makes me smile. Isn't this the cutest card? Such a unique fold and definitely gives it a WOW factor. The designer paper was Fall Flowers and the stamp set used is Wild about You. The stamps were inked out in Old Olive, So Saffron and Ballet Blue and stamped onto Whisper White. Had a little bit of an oops, the center of the open card should just be a square, but I had to extend it to the flap because of a 'kreative glitch' :) But I think it turned out cute with the animals on parade :)
When the card is closed I took a wide ribbon challenge (what do you think Mary?) from the Sherbet Originals Ribbon and placed it around my card with a Build-a-Brad for its closure.
