He'll be here before ya know it! Hope you haven't been naughty, or this sleigh might be filled with coal! I had seen this template by Sherry Graves on Splitcoast Stampers, but the link has since been removed (so glad I had printed it out way back when). The sides of my sleigh are kreated with Riding Hood Red and my So Swirly wheel inked with VersaMark and then heat embossed with Hologram Highlights Embossing Powder (retired, but Iridescent Ice EP would be just as perfect to make his sleigh sparkle) And boy does this sleigh sparkle -'sparkle' just never photographs well :( The sleighs runners were snipped out of Brushed Silver paper - just perfect. The inside of his sleigh was kreated using a piece of the Holiday Treasure designer paper. Isn't it so cute!

I Do Believe

When I picture Santa this is the face I see. I love this stamp by Rubber Stampede and couldn't be without it even if he isn't SU. I was hoping for something like him when the present catalog came out, but the closest I can get to this face is with the Old Saint Nick Rub-Ons (Holiday Mini #112844). He's a great Santa face too and I can't wait to see that UPS man with some new goodies. Don't forget you have until Nov 30th to place your orders for any Rub-On sets - Get 20% off all Rub-Ons when you spend $20 on Stampin’ Up! products. For only $8.76 per package (regularly $10.95), you can get any of Stampin’ Up!’s fun and unique Rub-Ons that can be used on cards, scrapbook pages, crafting projects, and more!
A Whisper White card base is decorated with the So Swirly wheel inked with VersaMark and then heat embossed with Iridescent Ice. Santa was inked with Riding Hood Red and the edges were sponged with more Riding Hood Red. Placed him on another piece of Whisper White and layered that on Riding Hood Red. Highlighted some Little Felt Flurries (Holiday Mini #113697)with a Two-Way Glue Pen and glitter. These little flurries are great accents and a GREAT deal, 69 total flurries in 3 colors and 23 designs- awesome!
I hope to continue to be very present here on my blog, but wish me luck (I'll need it), I've been asked to participate at a craft fair only 3 weeks away and I have a lot of stampin to do!!
For now, go kreate - that's where I'm headed :) LOL

Sweet Treats

Once again, another fun project instead of a card. Is this not the cutest way to surprise someone with a sweet treat? And it doesn't have to be candy... think gift certificates, cash, love letters - isn't it sweet? This could be a great little party favor, upcoming Halloween treat, to place on top of a gift, door prize :)....Anyway, this pull treat was kreated with Regal Rose paper and I wheeled the Scatter Sunshine Wheel using Rose Red ink. TIP: I do not have a Rose Red cartridge for my wheel, but if not covering a large area, you can simply run and re-run your wheel over your stamp pad to ink it up and then wheel across your paper. Now I would not suggest doing this if you are trying to decorate wrapping paper for example, too large an area.
My Chocolate Chip belly band was scalloped using the hot new Scallop Edge Punch. My favorite new tool. I inked up a flower from Simply Said and randomly stamped it on my belly band. My sentiment from Simply Said was inked in Chocolate Chip and stamped on Regal Rose. Each corner was Ticket Punched and then set in the middle of the belly band with dimensionals.
If you pull on the Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon, up arises your special treat. If you'd like to make this fun little treat, let me know and I will gladly pass on the info. Don't forget to think outside the box too!
I hope you are enjoying the fabulous new Fall/Winter 2008 Catalog and Idea Book. I'll be placing my own order this week and I can't wait to start some fun new cards and projects :) If you have any questions about anything in the new catalog, please don't hesitate to ask. If you are ready to place your orders, contact me and it will be submitted the same day.
