Bibs
I'm finally up on the newest trend :) I'm sooooo excited - I just rec'd my BIG SHOT a little over a week ago along with the Scallop Circle die (still waiting the Top Note as it is on backorder :( and I saw this adorable step-by-step tutorial for this project by Patty Bennett and had to give it a try. This is my first die cut machine so this was the perfect tutorial to get me started with my new toy :) I totally CASED her idea and I love how they turned out! Aren't these adorable!!! I used Baja Breeze, Regal Rose, and Sage Shadow for my bibs. Background Basics (retired set) were inked in VersaMark and randomly stamped on the bib. I used the stamp from Punches Three (hostess set) and inked it twice in 2 different colors - punched one out with the large oval and then used the other to snip out the middle portion and place it on dimensionals (ie: my regal rose bib - inked the 1st time in Close to Cocoa and punched it out, then inked again in Regal Rose, but only snipped out the middle portion of the inked image and adhered that with dimensionals on the Close to Cocoa piece - make sense???) Used the Wide Oval Punch to kreate the 'neck' of the bib. Then used my Crop-a-dile to insert some Jumbo Pewter Eyelets and threaded ribbon through for the authentic bib look :) LOVE THEM! Thanks for taking a peak! I'm meeting with my group of ladies tonight to make some gift cards and have a few Holiday goodies - FUN FUN FUN! Then I really need to go into high gear - Saturday is my first craft fair, the count down begins!!!!!

Holiday Tags and Magnets

Another quick post (sorry) - so much to do, so little time! I decided to make a bunch of magnets and tags for my up coming craft fair after seeing my 'Pal' Mary's adorable magnet set. I used In Colors and the Christmas Classic stamp set and added a little bling with some clear rhinestones and gave berries and ornament some extra sheen with some Crystal Effects (click on the picture to view a bit larger). The tags hang from some Silver Cord (Holiday Mini #109866) and are also inked on the back with a 'to: from:' stamp in Basic Black (not sure if I will package them the same way yet?). Magnets are packaged on a piece of acetate and slid into SU Medium Cello bags and topped with a simple Kiwi Kiss and Riding Hood Red topper. Avery Magnet Sheets (#3270)were so simple to use to kreate this project - simply punch them out with your punch and adhere to the back of your image and voila' instant cute magnet. TIP: These magnets are very thin, so they are only strong enough to hold up a sheet or two. CUTE!! Thanks Mary for the idea! I will also be kreating some all occasion tags too, can never have to many of those. Really adds that cute factor to a gift package!

In a Jiffy!

Last minute I decided to attend a Holiday Party with a church group I belong to and we were to bring a $10 gift for a grab bag. Well, in a JIFFY, I whipped up this cute little gift. I decorated a JIFFY POP popcorn with Snow Swirled Snowflakes on Pacific Point and Baja Breeze and embossed with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder. The sentiment, from A Cardinal Christmas, was inked in VersaMark and embossed with White Embossing Powder. The snowman from the retired Frosty set was colored in using inks and a Blender Pen and mounted on a layer of Old Olive. I used White Grosgrain to hide the seam of my two papers and finished it off by tying a Baja Breeze Stitched Grosgrain to the handle. Added my blockbuster gift card (actually slipped it right over the handle to hang off the backside) and instant gift - cute right??!! Now I want to make a bunch of these for my craft fair - oh so much to do so little time! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek :)

Bookmarks
Easy and cute - I've made a bunch of these for my upcoming craft fair. What do you think? These had been done at SU Convention and they didn't look to difficult to make, so I gave it a try. I've taken the square frames from On Board Something Seasonal and taken a dauber with Classic inks (Pacific Point, Old Olive, Pixie Pink) and colored both sides of the frame. Then cut 2 square pieces approx 1 3/4x 1 3/4 of cardstock or DSP to cover over the opening of the frame. Then on the backside adhered a 12" ribbon with a glue dot in the middle of the frame and then adhered the 2nd piece of cardstock/DSP to the back of the frame. Decorated the center of the frames with other stamped images. Used the small filigree brad in the center of some images and adhered images to the middle of the 'frame' with dimesionals. Added the large filigree brad to the bottom of some of the ribbons and knotted the ribbon to hold it in place. Unfortunately the 5/8 Grosgrain ribbon is too thick to feed through the filigree brad, but a frayed bottom or dove tailed cut finishes it off too. Any questions, feel free to contact me.

My Deer Friends...

Quick post, as I have more projects to kreate for my craft fair...Around the holidays, there is always a need for a gift card, so of course we need a variety of card holders :) You can view my post yesterday for a fun fold card that also holds a gift card. These are made with In Colors cardstock, various designer paper (obviously those with polka dots) and using my Deer Friends Hostess lev II set (LOVE IT)! Check out this waterfall card I did with this set (LOVE IT!) :) Ok, onward...the stamps were inked/colored using my SU Markers in order to get different colors on my image and then punched out with the 1-1/4" Circle Punch. Placed ribbon around the card to keep it shut. Punched a Scallop Circle (one Curly Label) and placed it on dimensionals on top of the ribbon and then placed my circle deer friends image in the center and you have cute, cute, cute card holders! Don't ya think?
Quick directions: Click on any picture to enlarge

*Cut base cardstock to 4.25 x 11".
*Score at 2 3/4", 5 1/2", 8 1/4"
*Fold into W shape
*Sticky strip inside piece together along edges.
*Punch using large oval punch across inside fold and then cut a sliver in order to slip card into opening
*Decorate :)
Any questions, contact me. If you'd like to Host a Party to earn this set and live in the Bergen County NJ area, I'd be happy to party with you :) Or gather up some orders for $300+ and this fun set could be yours :) Great for the holidays!!
