Just Sparkle

Love this new set of 6, Snow Swirled, which is 15% off until Sept 30. Kreated my tree on Whisper White, first stamped with VersaMark and sprinkled with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder (and heated) and then again in Baja Breeze ink. It gave my tree a 'shadowed' and sparkly feel. Layered my tree on a piece of Brushed Silver paper and then Baja Breeze. Randomly stamped some of the snowflakes from this set in VersaMark and again heat embossed with Iridescent Ice to make them sparkle. This card is so pretty in person and unfortunately the photo doesn't pick up the luster and sparkle - so hope you can use your imaginations. My sentiment is from Heard from the Heart and inked in Baja Breeze. I used my VersaMarker to highlight a few of the letters with some more 'sparkle' - like snowflakes leaving a dusting behind. Happy Anniversary Dear

I really wanted to use the Tres Chic Background stamp for my anniversary card. The plan wasn't to make it this simplistic, but for my hubby simple and non-frilly was my best bet. Quick card to kreate as well, definitely under 15 minutes. My card base is Whisper White and I layered a piece of Basic Black on top. The top layer is my Tres Chic background stamp inked in Whisper White and stamped onto a piece of Brushed Silver paper. I then covered the paper except for the word love and as carefully as possible sprinkled a reddish non-SU embossing powder over my word. Then to accent it a bit more, I used the circle piece from my Hodgepodge Hardware. I played with a few other embellishments, but kept coming back to the 'plain Jane model'. The Brushed Silver paper gives it enough pizazz, too much more and I would be overstepping the 'masculine boundaries' :) Ah well, I can't complain, pretty easy and quick and I know he won't complain either! LOL
