Top Note Bag

Last minute details in preparation for Christmas have begun. I have a few small gifts that needed just the right packaging. I've seen these cute bags floating around on different blogs (sorry don't recall whose) and thought I had to play with my new Big Shot. This was so quick and simple and oh so very cute! I took my Top Note die and 2 pieces of Riding Hood Red and ran it through my machine - voila, instant front and back to my bag. Inked up some snowflakes, from Snow Burst, in white Stazon and randomly stamped them on both die cute pieces. Then I took some Riding Hood Red ink and sponged it around the edges. The bag takes its form from paper sacks that I picked up at Michaels, measuring 3-1/2" x 2" x 6-3/4".
I cut mine to 3in and then adhered my decorative front. Took the Large Oval punch to punch a handle through the top of one side (part of your bag will be punched as well and that is ok). Then adhere the other Top Note to the back of the bag, realign your Large Oval Punch with the front and punch out another 'handle' on the back side. So simple! Then I took the adorable Little Felt Flurries (Holiday Mini #113697) and attached them with a Circle Ice Rhinestone Brad. All this cuteness in under 15 minutes!! :)

Enjoy your Christmas Eve!!!!

Kim

I have been wanting to make one of these too!

You are beating me to the punch on all of the cool ideas...

I LOVE RED, so this stood out to me immediately.

You are one busy (and very thoughtful) woman, Kim.
