Basket Centerpiece

Stamp a Stack was lots of fun Monday night :) A few of you that couldn't make it last minute, hope you are feeling better!! The ladies had their first ever SWAP and they did GREAT! I'll post a few for you tomorrow. Just wanted to share this cute little center piece that I made using the Good Egg set and a quick and easy tutorial I got from my cyber friend Jennifer Myer at Jennifer's Sweet Design. I assembled mine a bit different than she did, but hers is just adorable. Check out Stamps and Smiles for her newly released stamp sets, of which her little bunny is from. I'm looking forward to using my Egg-stra Special set soon - THANKS Jen!
I inked up the flowers and dots from the Good Egg set in VersaMark and stamped it on the front side panels of my Certainly Celery basket. I inked up my little eggy chick on Whisper White and again on a piece of Delicate Dots DSP (you still have 2 weeks left for this/other freebies out of the Sale-a-bration catalog!) and paper pieced my egg. Then colored in my chick with my So Saffron marker. Stamped the large oval egg on Bashful Blue, snipped it out and added some Bashful Blue sponging to the edges. Used my Scallop Edge punch and some more Delicate Dots DSP to kreate my handle. I filled with some not so coordinating green grass and Ghirardelli Chocolates and it was the perfect little center piece for the night. The ladies love a little chocolate as we stamp - its a staple :) Thanks for the inspiration Jen!
For now, go kreate
Kim
