KISSaturday w/ Letterpress Plates

No time to kreate, too many errands, today? OMGosh I forgot, in a pinch ... brings us here to another KISSable card. I know I'm not the only one who has been heard mumbling these words ;) So lets Keep It Simple Sweeties!!! Grab a large background stamp, OR a bold patterned DSP OR, as I have here, the NEW Letterpress Plates w/ your Big Shot and let it do the work for you! You can view the Stampin Up video below to see exactly how to use your letterpress plates.

* Inked up the Lots of Love plate with VersaMark and then went over the word 'LOVE' with Craft Real Red Ink TIP: If you don't have an ink spot for these small areas, your Sponge Dauber works great too! Yeah for Daubers - you know I can't be without them!!!! ;)
* Zip it through the Big Shot with Crumb Cake and you have a beautiful inked, debossed image.
* Distressed the edges using, you guessed it, a Sponge Dauber and Soft Suede ink and mounted it onto a Cherry Cobbler cardbase. Viola, 1-2-3! SO KISSable!!!!

I wanted to show you what just a few more minutes and a few more embellishments can do - and still worthy of a KISS card I think

* Got Tea? OK, I will admit this took a little time, but really, just a little... I snipped off my Crochet Trim Ribbon from the spool and in doing so, my elbow almost knocked over my tea cup. Totally meant to be... I took out my soggy tea bag, grabbed a paper towel and began to rub the tea bag on my ribbon for more of that aged look. SO cool!! TIP: No need to saturate your ribbon - rubbing the damp tea bag worked great! Grabbed my blow dryer for seconds and I was ready to place it on my card.

* Scrunch it! Run SNAIL across card front and do some crunchin' and bunchin' for the scrunchie look

* Add a Trinket! These little embellishments are just so cute!! Tied a Linen Thread bow through my Trinket Key and adhered with a Glue Dot

* Ahhhh, how sweet! Tie it all together with 'Key to My Heart' among the cute sentiments from You're a Gem, popped out with the Curly Label punch.

So, 1-2-3-4 ;) Not bad, right?! Hope you enjoyed another KISSaturday card. I love to hear your thoughts, if you'll take a moment to leave me some 'love', its so appreciated! Have a WONDERFUL weekend and thanks so much for poppin in for a little dose of me! Hope you have time to get inky! Happy Kreating!

Oh, don't forget to check out the video on how to use your Letterpress plates. How cute is the scrapbook page she does? I think I'm getting that scrappin' itch!
