Up to Par?!!

Masculine card making has gotten a little easier with the new And Many Mower set from the Occasions Mini. This card is to cheer up a golfer who isn't feeling up to par :)
The base of the card is Kraft cardstock which coordinates with the To the Nines designer paper. I hide the seam with 5/8" Choc Chip Grosgrain ribbon. The image is stamped in Basic Black on Whisper White and colored in using SU Markers. I distressed and layered the image on Kraft and Sage Shadow and distressed the edges of these as well. I pierced around my focal point with my Mat Pack that contains a template for perfect piercing placement. Two white brads from the Neutrals Assortment bring some additional attention to my golfer.
Get Well was inked (and isolated) from Fun and Fast Notes stamp in Choc Chip Craft ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. Popped out the sentiment with the Word Window Punch and layered it on top of a Choc Chip Large Oval and Sage Shadow Wide Oval - both layers of ovals were also distressed to keep the 'rough' look. TIP: Distressing can easily be done with your nail, but if you want to save your manicure, the Cutter Kit (106958) is your tool.

Perfect layout, coloring, piercing. Love this. I have this little guy stamp ready to create a Father's Day card . . . I'm inspired by your coloring with the markers. Did you do your "touch of Bordering Blue" around the outline?

Hugs,

Mary

Yes Mary, I did add a touch of Bordering Blue around my little man with my blender pen. Forgot to mention that, thanks for noticing the detail :)
