A simple image and a variety of phrases truly makes this a Very Versatile set and you can order now from the new Occasions Mini Catalog (available April 1 - June 30). Sometimes I like to start a card with a sketch, seems to make it easier, so this card was inspired by Taylored Expressions challenge #61 (TECC61). You can view the sketch below at the end of this post and be inspired to kreate your own card :) This card started with a Kraft base and the image was stamped on Very Vanilla with Choc Chip ink. I traced over the image with my VersaMarker, sprinkled on some Clear Embossing Powder, heated it up with my heating tool to give it a bit more 'pop'. Using gentle circular strokes, I lightly sponged over the entire Very Vanilla piece with Close to Cocoa. Then the edges were sponged with Choc Chip and then layered over Choc Chip. The Baja Breeze layer, also sponged, was given a decorative frame with the Eyelet Border Punch. I love the new Parisian Breeze Specialty paper, the colors and added texture are so classy. If you are familiar with the paper, this may look a bit different - reason, I lightly sponged Close to Cocoa over the designer paper to give it a more distressed look, so it is not the normal white background. My final touches, a 5/8" Choc Chip Grosgrain Ribbon tied in a bow, layered over Baja Breeze Double Stitched Ribbon and some Very Vanilla brads. Voila'

CLEVER eyelet border frame! I'll have to try that!
Wow! I love the eyelet frame and your choice of colors are beautiful! Nice touch with the brads along the side. This is a winner!!!
Wonderful color combo (perfect for your blog colors). Very cool what you did with the vanilla brads and ribbon. Always something fresh from you! Hugs, Mary
You did it again - the sponging is always so cool!
I love the color combo you used, too.
So pretty, Kim.
