A Sweet Peek

Do you see something unique on this card? That little 'Sweet Treat Cup' along with a very cute stamp set called Sweet Centers will both be available to order Sept 1 in the new Holiday Mini Catalog.
*I started with a standard Bashful Blue card base 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 scored at the side
*I free formed a cloud and cut it out and used it as my template to kreate my sky - using Bashful Blue and my Dauber, I lightly dabbed around the edges of my template and moved it around and continued daubbing until I achieved my cloudy sky
*Then up up and away, I used the basket image from the set and stamped it in Choc Chip Craft ink and heat embossed with Clear Embossing powder.
*Added a Circle Fire Rhinestone to the basket with a dab of Crystal Effects. TIP: The rhinestone pops right out of the brad, simply by opening up the brad and prying back the little tabs that hold the rhinestone in place.
*Used my 1-3/4 Circle Punch to kreate the perfect opening to pop my sweet treat cup through. TIP: The cups have their own adhesive to keep them secure on your card.
*Paper pierced a frame around my image
*Using the Oval All set, I inked up my sentiment with my VersaMarker onto Real Red and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder and punched out with my Scallop Circle. Real Red was sponged onto the edges for some depth
*A scrap Crushed Curry Scallop that had been run through my Big Shot using the Scallop #2 die was looking to be used, so I layered it behind. Lets not be wasteful :)
*Crushed Curry Polka Dot Grosgrain ribbon with dove-tailed edges is the final touch with my scalloped sentiment set on top with dimensionals. TIP: Dove-tails, so easy -fold your ribbon in half and cut at an angle (now if you do it wrong the first time, yes I'll admit it :), you'll kreate a point - go back and snip in the opposite direction. You'll get it :)

Really a quick card to kreate, no frills. I think the longest part was trying to draw my 'perfect' cloud LOL. So do you like my sweet peek card?
You are going to love this set... Shhhh, I'll let ya in on a secret :) the other images involve Christmas, Halloween, Valentines, a flower - oh are you gonna love it!

this is sooo cute. I have to know, how many MMs will it hold? I'm seriously thinking about getting this set. TFS.

Hi Lorraine and Martha
So glad you liked this kreation! I'm loving these little treat cups! I used the 'fun size' bags of M&M's and it seemed the perfect fit - I'd say approx 15 yummies, about a handful :) Perfect size for those of us watching our waistlines :)
