Snowman Bag and Sale-a-bration is in full swing!!

Thank you PPA - what a wonderful treat that my Anything but a Card challenge, snowflake shrinky dink earrings, was picked as a favorite among so many other talented stampers!

Well to give you an update, the recipient loved them :) Here is a picture of my niece modeling a sideview of the earrings. Aren't they cute?!!

And of course I had to package them just right for her. Snowmen are always a favorite among all us gals in the family, so I decided to use some inspiration I had seen, a white shirt box transformed into a snowman. I'm so sorry I don't remember who this was - she said it was such a waste of paper for the kids to just rip through to get to their Christmas presents, so she was going green! How adorable and how efficient!! Next year I am already imaging some Rudy's and Santas, maybe even an elf and of course a Frosty!!

Back to the packaging, I used the box snowman inspiration and kreated my snowman from a white craft bag that I purchased at a local craft store.

*I ran a piece of Basic Black through the Big Shot with my Top Note Die. I folded it in half and only adhered half to the front of the bag, which allowed the other half to act as a flap over the bag top.

*I cut a rectangular piece and Corner Punched the lower edge and adhered it to be the brim of his hat

*Using the 1" and 1/2" Circle Punches, I kreated the eyes and mouth

*Snipped out a carrot shaped nose from Dusty Durango

*Highlighted his hat using my White Signo Gel Pen

*Inked the holly from Christmas Classics using my SU Markers and then applied Crystal Effects to the red berries. Snipped out and placed on dimensions on that 'old silk hat'

He was so simple, very quick to put together and turned out cute! Easy projects for kids to do too!!

Don't forget, Sale-a-bration and the New Occasions Mini Catalog are in full swing.

What is Sale-a-bration?? It's the BIGGEST event of the year!
* For every $50 you spend, you qualify to pick from the Sale-a-bration brochure an item/s for FREE!!! Combine that with the new Occasions Mini Catalog and that's some fun shopping :)

Almost 2 years ago during Sale-a-bration, I took advantage of a great deal too and I have no regrets!! Adorable snow man bag! I like how the folded top note acts as a flap. Very creative!

I'm so glad you showed us what the earrings look like on.

They are much bigger than I envisioned in the earlier post.

I LOVE them!! How fun!
