Today's the day, the release of the SU Spring/Summer 2009 Idea Book and Catalog. You are going to LOVE it!!!! You will be able to download the new catalog on my blog (the right side bar) after it goes live which will be sometime after noon, MT. You may need to be patient as there will be alot of 'traffic' to the main site. My suggestion, until you have a hard copy in your hot little hands, is to download the catalog and save the file to your computer. And of course if you don't have a demonstrator and are wondering where you can get a hard copy ($9.95) contact me and I will gladly ship one to you and be available for any of your Stampin' Up! needs.
Some other bits of info... there will be a 'downloadable' supply list (right side bar) which will include info and mini photos for the samples in the catalog. Remember this has always been in the back of your catalogs, well, now you can print it out and not have to flip back and forth AND that means more room in the catalog for more goodies :)
AND...
You can start the fun by viewing the brand new Decor Elements III brochure NOW (right side bar again :) Fantastic colors and images have been added. Check it out!!!!
Ok, so I was playing a bit with my Big Shot die cut machine and the Pillow Box die - so FUN :) - and decided on a few Valentine treats. I popped out the Pillow Box pattern (already scored and perforated for the perfect template) using Holiday Treasure DSP. The one to the left I punched out a small heart so you could see the conversation hearts inside (wrapped in our small Cello Bags). I wrapped a Pretty in Pink Grosgrain ribbon and then added a Filigree Brad and pink Button Bouquet tied together with a piece of Red Hemp. But ooops, do you see my goof? Live and learn, I should have placed my heart and ribbon on the other side, so that you aren't viewing the open edges of the flaps. Make sense? Look at the second example that I did correctly (or at least its presentation looks better!) Again, playing with my Big Shot, Birds & Blooms Sizzlits (ooooo wait til you see all the new stuff for the BIG SHOT - YIPEE) I used Choc Chip for my bird and added an extra layer to the wings with Close to Cocoa. Tied a Choc Chip Grosgrain ribbon around the Pillow Box and finally stamped Happy Valentines from Holidays and Wishes set in Riding Hood Red onto Pretty in Pink. Cute little treat boxes, don't ya think?
Oh, did I mention....ready... stamp sets are ALL DIE CUT (well, almost all- the exception of background stamps and mini alphabet sets)! Yes you read that right!! What a time saver!!!! Now make sure to check back later to view the catalog. He he - so excited for you to see it! Get your wish lists ready..................

Also wanted to make you aware of a great discount going on. All Hodgepodge Hardware (pg 188 of Spring Summer Catalog) is 25% off = $20.96. This is a great accessory set with approx 138 pieces of hardware, plus 100 matching brads. This kit is normally $27.95, so you are getting a great value!!
And you can get any of these 3 finishes -
Aged Cooper(105532)
Antique Brass(105531)
Pewter(105515)
but its only while supplies last - don't miss out!
Today is also the release of the new product line Decor Elements. Don't forget to check it out on the right side of my blog. Click on the Decor Elements picture and you will be able to view the brochure.
I haven't had much time to stamp lately and today was no different. But when I went to my desk, there lay some scraps that looked like they wanted to be together - even the ribbon was slightly unrolled and close by. So, go with it. A while back I had taken my Fresh Cuts background stamp and inked it in VersaMark onto Basic Black and then used my heat gun and White Embossing Powder to finish it off. I put it aside and never did anything with it. Well, as it sat next to a scrap of Basic Grey I figured why not. I layered 2 non-SU organza ribbons, black and white, and placed them over the Basic Grey and then adhered my white embossed Fresh Cuts piece on top. Took both layers and placed them on a folded 4x4 Whisper White card. Even though one step was already done, this was definitely an under 15 minute card to make.

Decor Elements Brochure
I had promised you the brochure for the new product line Decor Elements, but due to Stampin' Up! policy, I have had to remove the brochure from my blog as these items are not yet available for purchase. But here is some enticing info on this new line...These new products are being made by SU in house, so this is only phase 1 for this new product. It will be an expanding line. Décor Elements product line is an extension of SU's Definitely Decorative home décor line. Décor Elements is vinyl artwork for walls, mirrors, windows, or other hard, smooth surfaces.
Stampin' Up! has long advocated decorating your home using Definitely Decorative stamp sets. Décor Elements takes that same idea and uses a different medium to accomplish the same mission-making your home a beautiful representation of your style! Whether you want to spice up the walls of your home or frame a piece for display, Décor Elements is easy to apply, easy to love, and easy to remove. Another differentiator is that the Décor Elements images and techniques available also coordinate with SU existing products. You have Two-Step Stampin', so why not two-step and three-step wall art that will really catch attention? Apply a frame, then choose a letter to go inside it. I'm sure the possibilities will be endless with this new product line. I'm looking forward to giving it a try.
This product line will be available to you on July 1, 2008. If you are interested in more information regarding this brochure, please contact me as I am able to send you a PDF file. Sorry for the confusion. I will re-post the brochure online July 1st.
Check back later and I'll have a new card posted for you. Until then....

Ready for this? New product line announced
Hey Everybody, are you ready to hear the latest news from Stampin' Up!... they have started a new product line called Decor Elements. This is a line of self-adhesive vinyl wall decorations, an exclusive product of SU that accentuates the creativity of Stampin' Up! It is a great solution to decorating or re-decorating our home decor from walls to picture frames to tiles to windows - I'm sure the possibilities will be numerous! They are quick, easy and affordable to use. There will be 100 images ranging from art, phrases, and alphabets and available in 2 different colors: Chocolate and White and I believe there may be 1 image in Kraft (neutral color). This product line will be its own spotlight and therefore will have its own brochure and will not be in the Fall/Winter catalog. This introductory brochure will be available tomorrow, so make sure to check back.
Stampin' Up! is branching out trying new and different things- very committed in expanding new products and products lines. "All things creative", it doesn't have to be just about paper crafting. Can't wait to see what's in store for us in our new Fall/Winter 2008 Catalog (coming out August 11th) and future catalogs.
How exciting and what great fun!! Can't wait to try it out! As I get more information on this new product line I will be sure to share it with you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I will gladly assist you.
