Featuring...Moi'

I'm so excited and honored to be the Featured Stamper today at the new Pals Paper Arts Blog. I had such fun and I hope you will play along this week and upload your kreations to Mr Linky on the PPA Blog. Hop on over and check out the AMAZING talent of some of my Pals!
A bit of a long post as I listed the details of each project for you. Hope you like them :)

This is the photo I was given to work with as my 'Kid themed inspiration'. Lots of different ideas running through my head... I think it all came together nicely. Looking at my inspiration photo, I see color combos, animals, boys and that chalk board. I immediately thought back 2 school (it is right around the corner and for some of you has already begun). So I used the new Animal Stories set to kreate my fun little set. A pencil holder, my trinket box - perfect to store little thumb tacks, rubber bands, extra staples, erasers, paper clips... speaking of paper clips, you'll see that here too. Enjoy the projects. Here are the deets :)

Using the new Perfect Details Texturz Plate, I ran a piece of Very Vanilla through my Big Shot, layered ontop of Brilliant Blue and my standard Very Vanilla card base of 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 scored at the top
*Inked my giraffe from Animal Stories in So Saffron and removed ink from his mane, antler and tail with a Blender Pen and with a Close to Cocoa Marker went back over them. Huff to remoisten the image and stamped on Very Vanilla. Sponged edges with So Saffron and mounted on dimensionals on Certainly Celery.
*Popped out the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes (great set with every occasion) with the Word Window punch and layered on the new Modern Label punched out in Brilliant Blue. A 1/16" Handheld Circle Punch helps me kreate my splash of Real Red Circles. Placed onto a rectangular strip of Bashful Blue
*A few ribbon tabs and Fresh Fav I buttons finish off the card

Pencil Holder - ok, trash into a treasure :) My empty plastic wrap cardboard roll cut down, became my holder. A 1-3/4 Circle Punched piece of cardboard (the one you find in the back of your Designer Paper) fit perfectly to the bottom, adhered with Multi Purpose Adhesive. Cut my Very Vanilla piece to fit just right around the 'tube' and then stamped my Animal Stories friends randomly on the sheet. Adhered that with some Sticky Tape and then continued to decorate.
Soft Suede Polka Dot Ribbons and small buttons from Fresh Favorites I,II were the perfect embellishments for this stylish little holder.

Coordinating little owl paper clip. Cute and easy! See this post for more details how to make your paper clip.

And finally my trinket box. Another cute and FUNctional project.
*Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue and So Saffron were run through the Big Shot with the Matchbox die. Each box was assembled and then adhered to each other using Sticky Tape
*Old Olive was run through the Big Shot with the same Perfect Details Texturz Plate used in my card and sized to fit around my 'tower' of boxes.
*The front of each box were given a toggle ribbon handle (knotted at each end) feed through a Jumbo Eyelet placed with my Crop a dile.
*Stamped my Animal Stories friends again onto Very Vanilla, used my paper snips (scissors) and then adhered them to my box. Love it.
You can see my 'girlier' version HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out the details. It was super fun to kreate this little set. Hope you like it. Leave me a comment, would love to know what you think. Don't forget to hop on over to PPA and play along.
