Beautiful and Breezy

I'm loving the Parisian Breeze Designer Series paper. I thought my butterfly from Gods Beauty (hostess lev 1) would take flight on this breezy paper. A little late with last weeks Splitcoast Sketch 225, but I thought it would work well for this beautiful butterfly image to be a focal point. I actually stamped this image onto a pizza box with Choc Chip Craft ink ~ the pizza box is thick, so its a great dimensional look. TIP: When heat embossing, you will need to use either Craft Ink or VersaMark (both are a 'stickier' ink that doesn't dry as quickly as the Classic Ink) so your embossing powder will adhere to the ink before you use your heat tool to give it a very pretty shine. I then used my Blender Pens and ink pads to color in the wings. TIP #2: Kreate a 'pool' of ink inside your SU ink pad ~ Gently squeeze together the center of a closed pad and when you open it you will have your 'palette' of ink. Dip in you Blender Pen and you can begin to color. TIP #3: Blender Pens are wonderful, you get 3 in a pack and you can use them over and over and over!!! After picking up one ink color, simply scribble off that color on a piece of scratch paper and you are ready to pick up the next color- convenient! And don't worry if the tip of your Blender gets 'stained' - it will still work the same for you. TIP #4: If you don't have a specific ink pad color, but you have that color SU Marker, use your marker to kreate a palette on a piece of wax paper or even the plastic lid of your stamp set. Works great!
Hope those were a few helpful tips. The rest of the card is pretty explanatory. Thanks for taking a peek!
