June tends to be a busy month, doesn't it? For me, my oldest has a birthday (today in fact), my twin nieces have a birthday too and then there are the dads and sometimes even some grads :) So here are a few kreations with them all in mind using our Fond Farewell Colors.
Along with our Fond Farewell Colors, we'll also be bidding a farewell to many Designer Papers too. One of my favorites, this year, has been the Cottage Wall paper. This Double Gate Fold card uses Orchid Opulence and Pale Plum coordinating with the Cottage Wall paper and this soon to be retired set, A Kind Word. Having two little girls of my own and a lined image stamp that I could color/watercolor, this was a must have for me!
Added a little Vanilla Smooch to the DSP to give it a subtle shimmer that I know will get that gasp of 'oh so pretty, mommy' from my daughter. And of course a few fluttering butterflies, from Beautiful Wings Embosslit (still available to order), in Pale Plum, Orchid Opulence and Apricot Appeal. Who doesn't love a butterfly? Happy 6th Birthday Kayla!!!
For the dads... this is another vest card, using Amy Celona's wonderful template, making this one even more schnazzy :)
* Vest kreated with Creamy Caramel. Swiped my Close to Cocoa ink pad over one side of the Square Lattice Embossing Folder and ran it through the Big Shot. Makes the vest look like a 'tweed' type of fabric - so cool, right?
* Choc Chip Corduroy buttons and a nifty Crushed Curry polka dot hanky (crushed curry ribbon) tucked into a Tag punched pocket make this a very handsome vest :)
* My 'chambray' pin striped shirt was kreated with Brocade Blue cardstock, a ruler and my Signo White Gel Pen
* A Crushed Curry tie and clear rhinestone 'tie-tack' finish off the ensemble
For the grads...gift cards and money seem to be the easiest. But its all in the presentation. How about this grad cap gift card holder?? Follow this template to get the wow before they even reach the gift!!!
* A Going Gray cap with edges distressed in Basic Gray to give it some dimension
* A momentus year capped off in Go Go Boots numbers run through the Big Shot with Crushed Curry
* Make your tassle of ribbon, twine, hemp, or cording and place it around a brad.
* Simple inside, (really could have used the Happy Grad stamp in the new Summer MIni (only $8.95!)) reveals a message inked in VersaMark and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder and of course a place to tuck your gift!
I hope you enjoyed your stop and were inspired by my kreations. NOW...

1 – 200 of 265 Newer› Newest»You can leave me out of the blog candy Kim, but I had to comment on the vest card. Too cute! The grad card is amazing too. Nice work!!!
Enjoy your day & happy stamping!
Clear mount, definitely! And for all the same reasons you mentioned.
Thanks for the chance to win!
That's actually hard for me to answer! I tend to use my Stampamajig on just about everything so the clear mount isn't a plus for me there - but I love that the quality hasn't been compromised and they are less expensive. I also like that the cases have the stamp images on the side - it will be easier to find what I need with everything lined up on the shelf. I won't have to pull the whole set out to remember what was in it!
Since I have more wood mount I would say I prefer them. But when I get the chance to buy clear mount I buy them. I think they work just fine.
I love both. If I purchase it with the plan of my little kids then i get the wood mount. If it is a holiday/seasonal set then I like the clear mount brcause of its storage. So I like both and it depends on how I will use the stamps.
Hey Kim! You rocked those projects and your Dad's Day card BLEW ME AWAY! XO
I prefer the wood mount sets. But I think for any two-step stamp sets I will buy the clear mount. I think the clear mount would work better with those.
No need for blog candy here, but I love love love your Kreations! Gorgeous butterfly card!
I love the wood, but am slowly crossing over to the clear mount. Storage is the biggest impact, but both are in my collection. Going forward I think I may still get both, but it depends on the set itself.
I use wood mount for embossing and clear for everything else. I must say it is easy to lose some of the little clear ones on my messy table!!
This is an easy easy question....the new clear stamps are the BOMB! They are easy to store, you can see placement, you can stamp more than one image at a time and the best is they are cheaper!!! so I can buy more stamps and supplies :0)
love your card examples for the blog hop :0)
I am really lovin the new clear mount stamps due to storage and affordability. Thanks for the chance to win some awesome blog candy! :)
Hey Kim! I'm totally sold on the new SU clear mount stamp sets. They take up less space and love how they have a photo of the stamp set on the spin-which helps me identify what set I'm looking for. Thanks for sharing all your great cretions with us. LOVE your Blog!
Clear!
I loved your card-SWEET!
I have both, but my preference is for the clear stamps. I love how easy it is to place them in your project. Love your cards!!!!
I have to say when I first tried the clearmount I didn't like them at all. But after giving them another chance they are now my favoirte.. I love the storage and the pricing...
hugs
Darlene-Joy
I like the stability of the wood, but for storage room & super easy placement, the clear are great! Not to mention the price!
Ilene B.
I have to say I liked the clear mount at first, for all of the reasons above and more. However, I have had so many problems with them staying on the acrylic block that I am sticking with wood mount until they improve. I have the SU blocks, I've tried huffing and cleaning them repeatedly but it still wont stick to that block. It's not just one stamp either its almost all of them. Due to that I'm sticking with the wood-mount, for now. Good question, and great cards!
I am very happy with the clear. Much easier to see where to stamp. The storage is also a plus
I am loving the clear mount! I love the fact that they are a little more economic, so I can have more stuff and it takes up less space! It is also so much easier to find the right placement on a card without using the stamp-a-majig....even though I still use that some times for "perfection"!
WOW! Your cards are amazing!
I prefer cling mount as long as the stamp set is not really little like itty bitty bits. For the really little sets, I like wood.
Clear mount all the way! I've been unmounting my wood-mounts for a couple years now. Nice $ savings too!
I love the clear mount. Doesn't use up the space and I can get better placement of the stamp.
I really do like the versatility of the clear mounted however I really do wish they were totally clear so I could see where my image will be lined up.
Love the clear mount though I don't yet own any!! Such ease of use and the storage is awesome.
I love the clear mount for all of the reasons that you mentioned.
I love the projects you posted today kim-the vest for fd is awesome
the new clear mounts are great-i love being able to see where iam stamping for sure and since i am running out of storage space this is a marvy idea
I like the new clear mount stamps, and it does help on storage space. Love your cards as always. Thank you
I had never used clear mount, but I am liking them the best now...Not only for storage purposes but for positioning for stamping!

Clear all the way!! I don't like my wood anymore. Love your Cottage Wall card, it's making me rethink that stamp set.
I really prefer Clear Mount Stamps. Loving how easy it is to store.
I share my stamps with pre-teen girls, so I prefer the wood mount. Easier for clean up & sharing.
Clear takes the cake! They are easier to store and becuase of the cost you get more money to spend on coordinating supplies. Its a win-win!
I love the vest card! I thought I would not enjoy the clear sets, but oh my! They are so much easier to store. They save me money! And even with the wood stamps, there were times I was really lazy and would not mount the stamp and just stamp with it! So thankful that we have this option!
I can't answer this yet. I am a returning demo after a 3 year hiatus and have not used the clear mount yet. However, it should be in the mail with my starter kit so I will get to try it out soon. I am so happy it is all cut from red rubber, however. That matters to me.
I like my wood mount stamps best. I can see the storage advantage and the pricing of the clear mount appeals to me but not enough for me to change. Nice to have the option so everyone can be happy. Thanks for sharing your amazing cards with us.
Clear mount all the way!!! That was what finally got me to spend money in the new mini! When i saw a set that was available in clear mount I decided to bite the bullet and boy, have I been enjoying it! That option will make buying stamps from SU much more feasible! They are so much easier to store and I"m almost exclusively cling stamp now anyways!
I will have to say the clear mounts are creaping up on me. The storage and price are formost, followed by seeing where they go. Loved, loved, loved the card vest...awesome!!!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the clear mount stamps and really hope that they will add some of the oldies to the clear stamp line up. So much easier to use/store/etc. Can't wait to see the new goodies!
I am looking forward to using the clear mount stamp sets because it will take the guess work out of placing your stamped image. -- Ami
Cute projects! Thanks for sharing. I'm still using the wood mounted stamps... haven't tried the clear mount yet.
I still like the old fashion rubber stamps! Kim - that vest card is the sweetest thing I've seen in a long time. Just fabulous!
I am so into the clear stamps for all of the same reasons you have.
The clear mount stamps are the best in my opinion! I love that they take so little room to store yet are so easy to use!
I prefer the wood mounted stamps. I will buy the other ones if it is something I am not going to use alot.
Ah, finally a easier question : )
This one is no brainer for me - clear mount!!!
I love how easy to store the clear mount stamp sets, and still get the high quality/great images!
Clear mount, hands down! Love em!
I tend to use many of the WM stamps, so I would have to say that.
I like the wooden stamps the best. They feel sturdy or maybe just because that what I have always used. I can see advantages to the clear but I can't seem to handle them as well as wood mounted.
I like the idea of the clear stamps, but I am a wood mounted girl through and through!
Beautiful cards, I love, love the first one. Cottage Wall is my favorite paper and the card you made with it is lovely. I JUST bought my first clear set and I am sold! I will have storage room for even more sets of stamps - yeah!
I have been converted. I really like the clear mount stamps; I am even converting some of my favorite old stamp sets to clear mount. Your cards are great especially the vest. I will have to give that a try. Appreciate the chance for the blog candy.
I have both but I tend to favor the wood mount still. I love using the stampmajig and you know you will getting an exact stamp where you want it.
Thanks for the goodies to win. Crossing my fingers.
vwhs77@hotmail.com
I love the new clear mount stamps.. so much easier to store! :)
I have only wood mount stamps, but anxious to start using the clear mount stamps!
The clear mount stamps have won my heart. The ability to position the stamp exactly where you need it, the clean slick cases, the ability to store so many stamps sets in a small space and read the sides of the box, and the price is right.
I have just loved the Cottage Wall paper as well and love the layout for your card. I have also fallen in love with the clear mount stamps because I don't have any more room for wood mounts in my storage space and I love being able to view the image from the clear block.
I'm torn between the clear mount and the wood. I only have one set of the clear mount and I like the ability to see where I'm stamping, but I like the feel and stabilty of the wood mount stamps. Sorry, can't decide yet.
LOVE the Vest card! I'm for the clear mount as they take a ton less room to store! Plus I love seeing where I am stamping something and it's a whole lot easier to line things up.
Love your cards! I prefer the clear mount stamps. They take up less space so that means I can buy more! :) Thanks for the chance to win some blog candy.
Robbie
I love the clear mounts, as easy to store in my note book with dividers and can see them at a glance than looking through my drawers of wood mounts. Love your cards!!
I am enjoying the new clear mount stamps. Much easier storage! Also, your cards are adorable! Can't wait to try making some of my own! Thanks for the chance to win.
Julie L.
I really like the clear mount stamps. I can get more stamps for the same price and storage space!
I really like the clear mount stamps for all the reasons you stated. I'm so glad that SU decided to introduce their clear mount stamp option.
I think I am in love with clear mount stamps...especially because I am running out of room. Love, love, love your vest card...too cute! Teri
Wow, I love your cards and the first one is amazing!!
I still love the wood stamps. They do take up more room, but I just like the feel of working with them better.
I like the new clear mount because of the easy storage.
Clear stamps without a doubt. I love that I can see where I'm stamping and still have the quality of the rubber versus the softer image. I also love the storage and that I can read them as they are stored.
I was strictly a wood mount girl until SU came out with the unmounted ones. Now I am a believer.
Doris D.
I love the clear mounts for the storage for sure, but I'm not sold yet... I find that they're not stamping as well as my wood mounted stamps... maybe it'll just take some time and practice to adjust...but I'm sure they'll win me over soon enough! k.bing@hotmail.com
The clear mount for all the reasons you mentioned. Thanks for the chance to win!
I prefer the wood mount, I just use a Stamp-a-ma-jig alot! Thanks for the chance at some great candy! Debra
I love the clear mounted stamps... they are awesome!
Great cards! Thanks for the chance to win. I still really like the wood mount sets. I use my Stamp-a-ma-jig for exact placement. Then I know it's perfect.
I've always preferred the wood mount stamps but I'm absolutely running out of room so the clear mount have come along just in time to save me. Time will tell if they are a good option but for now they are just the space saver I need!
Gorgeous creations Kim!! They are all so creative!!! Thanks for some great inspiration!
I do like the new clear, but old habits die hard. I'm still likin' the wood mounts! :)
I am slowly moving to the clear mount, but have wooden friends that will stay with me forever.
I like the clear mount stamps. I find it easier to place them exactly where I want it. I do own a lot of the wood block and will continue too.
It depends on the stamp size, but for storage, the clear-mount has been my choice now.
Clear Mount! :-) I save money and storage space with means more money and more room for even more stamps! Win Win situation if you ask me.
I love both types of stamps. Wood if it is a stamp that I want to grab and use quickly. Clear for storage crunch and "designing stamps of the large block".
Kim, you've been so busy with kute projects! I love that Grad hat--neat way to give the gift everyone loves. And that vest for a dad--cool! You don't need to put me in the drawing, I'm already Sandi's winner! Thanks to you for letting me know or it might have been days til I checked her blog!
Your samples are gorgeous! I love the gate fold card with the Cottage Wall DP! I too prefer the clear mount for storage reasons.
I LOVED your cards! I also aboslutely LOVE the clear mount stamps. Hope there'll be a whole bunch of them in the new catalog.
I am loving the new clear mount stamps. you get all the quality of a stampin up rubber stamp with the ability to see where you are stamping. the best of both worlds!
I have a lot of SU's wood mount sets. So, I am very excited to have a smaller and lighter stamp set option just for the sake of storage. And love that you can see thru the block to where the image is without leaning over, peering underneath...
I love the grad card - LOVE it!
I also wanted to say I think I like the clear base better. I can see where I need to stamp! :) thanks!
I will always be a wood mount girl. Can't help it, I have tried.
Jenn C
I'm torn....loved the wood mount for so long, but the clear mount makes it easier to store!
Love love love the new clear mount stamps.....so much easier to see where I'm stamping, the storage is way easier and the cheaper price is nice!!!
I love the new clear stamps! Stampin' Up! quality in the easy-to-use form! Awesome!
I LOVE the vest...lol. Just too cute.
Once they released the clear mounts, that's all that I've been buying & using.
I like my woods!! Maybe it's the idea that he stamp is already put together and ready...?? I don't know. Storage wise, they do take up more space... but I can see what I have a little easier.
I always liked the wood mounts, but I am starting to really like the clear mounted stamps. I am buying my new stuff clear mounted.
Barby
Hi Kim! I just love the clear mount stamps--especially for lining up words and sentiments. If offered the option--I would choose the clear mount stamps for sentiments and words every time.
Wow! Love your samples! Great cards -- I was going to say "especially the ...", but changed my mind -- I absolutely love all of your samples! TFS!
I've always loved the wood mount but I'm beginning to appreciate the clear mount more and more for it's space and price advantages!
Clearmount all the way!! Except for background stamps...I would think that size is a bit big and woudl prefer the wood. Thanks for the chance to win!
I prefer Clear Mount - the one thing you mentioned that most attracts me is the storage. I like it that it is easier to store than block mount stamps.
Thanks!
I love the clear mount stamps! It does take awhile to get used to, since you have to put a different kind of pressure on the clear block, but nothing can beat the way that these new sets are stored! So easy! and they're light and easy to tote!
Thanks for the chance to win!
I love the Vest Card! Will be doing that soon!
I was really torn. i had tried clear mount before and had such trouble with the rubber staying on the block. I gave in and tried SU clear-mount and love them! It is so much nicer to see where you are placing the stamp image. SU clear mount stays on the rubber too!
i am really excited about the clear stamps though i have not yet purchased one...i have used them in class and loved it!! storage saver for sure thanks for chance to win!
I still like the wood mounted stamps better than the clear ones.
I love the wood-mounted stamps, but I have to say I prefer the new clear ones because of STORAGE issues. I can't bear to part with my SU stamp sets and pretty soon I'll have to take over another bedroom to store them all!
Change is good but I still prefer the wood.
I love the new clear mount stamps. I love the cost and the ease of storage.
OMG!!!! gotta be the clear mount!!!Less space (which I am short on)more accuracy on placement for me as well (not good at eyeballing..lol) Thanks for the chance at blog candy!!
I haven't tried the SU clear mount stamps yet, but I do love the clear mount stamps by other manufacturers. I have a lot of wood mounted SU sets, so I think I am a 50-50 sort of stamper. I even combine both wood based and clear based on any given card. Great question! Gail M.
I definitely prefer clear mount stamps! Not only are they cheaper, but they take up less storage space, are easier to transport because they don't weigh as much, and their images are just as good as the wood-mount stamps. Love them!
I have tons of SU wood mounted stamps. I have just started using the clear mount. I really like both but I prefer clear mount verses. So much easier to position and the storage is a BIG plus.
I like both. I like wood mounted because the wood just feels right in my hand. LOL I like the clear mount because it's easier to tell where you're stamping. I am a huge fan of having to put those stickers on the stamps, though. :)
I am a traditionalist. I've been stampin' for 12 years now and I just don't want to give up my wood mounts...and nobody can make me!!!(Did you hear the whine?) Change comes hard to some of us......
Maggi
I love your cards. How innovative!
The clear stamps are definitely easier to place, but there are many
wonderful wood stamps too.
I'm still partial to wood mounted stamps. I like the way they feel when I stamp and once they are mounted they stay that way.
I love the clear mounts. (1) I can see what I'm going and (2) talk about space savers!
While I have lots and lots of wood stamps, I am moving to the clear mounts more and more. I find them easier to work with and can easily see where they are going on a card. Lots of cute cards from you today. Thanks for sharing.
I've only used the wood stamps, so those are my favorite right now. I would love to try a clear mount set, just haven't worked up the guts to try one!
I haven't bought any of the clear mounts yet, but plan to with the new catalog coming to try them out. I do love the wood mounts though! Thanks for the chance to win, your cards are awesome!
Clear, for storage, economic and placement reasons. But I am a little worried about their clinging long term.
Your cards are so adorable--the vest and hand-striped shirt--so cute! Love the little girl swinging with the cottage wall, and great designed card shape. I always wanted that set!! But don't another reired set. . .
I was hesitant to switch, but now I love the clear mount stamps. I like the lower cost and easier storage. I also like being able to arrange more than one stamp on a block. I'm hooked!
Definitely the clear mount just for the storage.
I'd have to say clear mount option for me!They are easier to store, CHEAPER and I can do a stamp-layout (more than one stamp to make like a larger more detailed one) in one easy go!

That is a hard question. I love the clear mounts because they are so easy to store. But on the other hand I really like SU wood ones. They are nice and they stamp such detail. They last forever too!! So I like them both!!! I love the vest card you did and I really like the double gateway card. Beautiful!!
I really like the wood stamps - do not care to always keep switching around the clear stamps and blocks - like to grab my set and start stamping.
I think I'm loving the clear mount!
You are sooooo lucky that I don't live next door to you because I would be over every day to see what you would be creating next! But I would bring cookies :)
Giggle- as in the stamp! I love the vest card! Amazing details! Everyone has such great blog candy. I love the acrylic stamp mount! I have a lot of the wood blocks and they are hard to store and just take up way too much space for me and I don't have nearly as many stamps as other people do. I also like the ability to see more where I am stamping also. Plus, they are cheaper!!!!
Chris R. from Iowa
love your first card - I have granddaughters and that would make such a beautiful Bday card. Hands down I love the clearmount stamp - helps me to stamp it right the first time. (I'm a novice)

I love the new clear stamps, so easy to store, and I don't have to use the Stamp-a-ma-jig! Your cards are amazing!
Clear stamps for sure!
I'm just beginning to make the move to the clear mounts. If I can figure out how to mount them, I'll be in good shape! I like using them because they are much easier to line up.
Clear mounts all the way. Great cards by the way.
Clear. I am new to SU and I already have a storage problem.
I tend to shy away from change, but when it comes to saving money and having some storage for stamps, I love the clear mount stamps.
I love both of them. I just have a hard time keeping the clear stamp on the block!! :{ Love your cards too!
I am totally loving the clear mount option not only because they cost less, but also because they take up less space!
I love the clear mount option! Great cards :)

I love the clear mount style stamps--they save so much room--for more stamps!
I'm a wood girl myself. I prefer the way it feels in my hand. No other real reason, I guess.
your cards are GORGEOUS! I love the new clear mount...Love it for easier storage...
I love the clear mount sets! They are much easier to store. I especially love that the quality of rubber didn't change in order to go clear.
Your first card with "A Kind Word" is beautiful! I love the colors and that set is pretty. The other 2 are pretty cool also : ) I would say I prefer the clear mount stamps for the reasons you listed (esp. storage!) tho I do like my ol' wood stamps too.
I NEVER in a million years thought I could be swayed away from my wood-mounts but I'm really loving the new clear mounts!
Thanks for showing us some great cards!
I'm finding I like the clear for the larger stamps and the wood for the small stamps. So when I go to purchase a stamp set I check the size to determine what i buy. The small clear stamps are hard for me to clean. The wood small stamps clean up just fine.
I have oodles of wood mount stamps & am partial to them but the clear ones are growing on me. I'm running out of room for stamps so may have to go to clear mount if I want many more! Love the gate fold card! Perfect for all my nieces!
I will really miss the Cottage Wall dsp.
I love the wood mount stamps but like the prices that clear mount affords.
I really love the new clear mounts. Wonderful to use.
Clear Mount all the way. I was so excited to see SU combine the convenience of clear but still maintaining the quality images of rubber. And it stores easier and cost less. How could you NOT love clear?!
The clear mounts definitely--for easier storage and affordability. Love the grad card!
Well, I like the clear ones for storage reasons but really LOVE the wood base stamps. For some reason, I get a better look when using the wood ones. However, I like the Stampin up clear stamps over others on the market.

Hi Kim!
Love your Kind Word card! So cute!
I prefer Both!!! For stamp sets with lots of stamps (like Awash with Flowers) I kinda would like it in Wood Mount since it's less time to stamp everything since it's already mounted, rather than mounting & unmounting the two-step stamping. But I prefer Clear Mount for all other sets since it's so nice to have all sets in the same size storage container! Hopefully BOTH is an okay answer! =)
I'm still leaning towards the wood, haven't used the clear much ... I'm sure they are better for certain stamps
I prefer the wood-mounted stamps. Being a long time stamper (more than 20 years!!), it's really hard to get to LOVE the clear stamps. I just use a stamp positioner - - works great! Thanks for the chance to win your blog candy!
Now that the cling mount are available in the same quality as the wood I'm all about the cling mount. I've even started converted some of my wood stamps over. I like not having to get out the stamp-a-ma-jig every time I need to put a stamp in a particular spot though I still use every once in a while. Thanks for the chance to win! Joy in GA.
I am starting to love the clear mounted stamps. I have not been a fan previously of the one's I had tried from other companies. However, the stampin up one's seem to have it right! Thanks for the chance to win.
I definitely prefer the clear mounts - easier to position and easier to store. Love your cards
I like the clear mount stamps because they are easier to store............and you can see just where you are stamping........thanks for the blog candy and all the great work you share.........
I'm a new stamper and just started with the wooden stamps, but I'm intrigued by the clear-mounts and wish I had gone that direction in the first place....oh well--with the Stampin-ma-jig I manage just fine!
I perfer the clear stamps. so much easier to see placement .I have a small crafting room so of course the smaller storage option works great for me.
I like the clear mount stamps for storage purposes and I love the feel of the new acrylic blocks.
I haven't completely made up my mind yet. I have 3 clear mount sets now and I do love that you can use more than one stamp at a time and place them where you want them.
Clear mounted stamps because I am running out of room for storing my stamps. I love the shirt card - too cute!
Gorgeous projects, Kim! And I love the clear mounts!
Love your cards, you are very talented. I am lov'in the clear and so are my customers. I have seen sales soar since their introduction.
Clear! It makes everything so much easier.
digging the Clear stamps!! I love the mounted ones as well with the stamp-a-ma-jig - -but there clear makes it oh so much easier!!!

I am old fashion and sometimes do not like to change things. So I am still using the wood stamps.
I have to say I'm a wood gal. I don't DISLIKE the clear stamps, and I can see where they're good for placement on greetings or two step stamping sets...but I am not convinced that I'll be switching over anytime soon. Thanks for the chance to win!
I love the clear stamps. Makes it so much easier to get the image exactly where you want it.
Babe
I love the clear, it saves so much space and is also cheaper. But I still love the wood too, I am torn like them both.
Thanks for playing along in the hop. Your projects were awesome. My favorite is the vest. Clear mount all the way baby!
I loved your card with the little girl on the swing I loved the paper and how you put it together. My favorite is clear mount so much easier to use to line up etc.
i prefer the clear, the only thing i like better about the wood is ther are already mounted so it saves time! love the grad card!
I am a wood girl...find the clear a little fussy.
I like the price on clear thou...tee hee
I'm loving the clear mounts, wish they were available for all sets!
Your cards today are fantastic - just beautiful!
What a grreat Blog Hop this is.

Love your Grad Card! I had to save that tutorial to my computer. Altho there are great reasons for using clear stamps, I still prefer wood mounted...I feel my stamping is more even, the stamp last longer because it is not being pulled each time it is place on and off the acrylic bases, etc.
First I have to say... I love your card with A Kind Word.. I love that set!! I do like the clear mount stamps.. I just wish they'd put the image already on the rubber like some companies have been doing! I like seeing where I am stamping!!
The Clear Mount here. I knew that I was going to like them even before I tried one out, because it was from SU! and because they kept the same deep etched red rubber. I am very happy with them for thier price, storage, and the fact that you can see what you have without pulling out the whole box on the shelf. Your cards are amazing. Love the Vest Card. Do you have directions? Thanks for sharing the Blog Candy. Will be back to look around more when I am finished with the "Hop".

OMG, Kim, your pin-striped shirt (using Signo gel pen) and vest card is so very clever. Great idea for the grad card, too. Thanks for the wonderful blog candy offer ~ I hope I'm the lucky winner! Still testing the clear mount stamp concept ~ saves space and more versatile but takes a little more time than wood-mounted stamps all ready to go. Need more time to adjust.
Clear stamps for me and for the same reasons. Cute vest card! Thanks for the blog candy.
Kim, all your creations were fantastic! I'm in love with the gate fold card (my fav dp as well) but the dad and grad cards are totally adorable too!!
I am an all-in convert to clear mount stamps. The storage convenience is a huge factor, plus the ability to see where you are stamping is perhaps the most important aspect to me.
I like the clear mount. Easier to store. I love the Cottage Wall DSP and will miss it. I love your vest and shirt card. My impression folder is on back order. Can't wait!
Love your cards!! I really like the clear mount stamps, so easy to store.
Loved your cards as well. I also have both and prefer the wood because I have trouble keeping the stamp on the acrylic block. I eventually get it stamped but I generally get inked in the process.

I prefer wood, I want to adhere my stamps once and be done. linhpeterson@yahoo.com

I LOVED your sample cards. I need to make that vest card, and the grad hat card! You are so talented!
I love the clear mount! They take up so much less room, plus you can see where you are stamping. I have started unmounting my other sets - boy I had a lot more stamps than I thought!
Your cards are so fabulous, but my fav has to be the first one. I'm casing it, Paige will love it. I just might have to make that vest for next year and have it done a bit in advance. lol. Your BC is fabulous too by the way. Hugs, Carla P.S. I'm a wood mount gal!!! But no BC for me. I'm answering the questions too. Its fun. *smile*
Absolutely LOVE your designs! The vest is so super cute...I haven't seen that before. TFS.
I am liking the new clear mount stamps. But really, whether wood or clear, I just love SU's designs!
Great CARDS!!
I will have to say that I like the clear clings. Now we will have room for MORE!! haha.
jennifer
I love clear stamps... I can mix and match, round words/phrases, and see exactly where I am putting down my stamp
I love the new clear blocks, so much easier to stamp where you want, and less storage space. Thanks for the opportunity to win blog candy!
I love those cards!! I wish I had the stamp set for the first one, I would case it for sure. And, that vest. . . . .awesome!!
Wood mounted stamps are my favorite, but I have started buying the clear mount b/c they are cheaper and take up less storage space.
Love the cards and I think I am liking the clear mounted stamps.
Acrylic by far! Thanks for sharing your awesome creations! Love them all! Been following you for awhile now and never disappointed! Great site! Thanks for the chance to win also!
I've always said "Wood Mount" only, but I must admit, Stampin' Up! has changed my mind. The new clear mounts still have the same quality rubber & cushion, the die cut stamps and labels make it so easy. And the space they save!!WOW. I'm sure I'll be getting more & more of them.
Such great cards. Thank you for sharing
I've been opting for the clear mount sets since they've come out, but I still love the wood mounts too. The wood mounts feel more sturdy to me, but the clear mounts are so much easier to line up....and to store! Storage is ALWAYS an issue! LOL
i prefer the clear mount stamps. you did a great job on your cards.
I like both kinds but the clear mount is definately easier to store because it takes up less room!! I love all your cards!! Thanks!
At first I was all wood-mount, but the clear are growing on me! I like being able to see exactly where my image is going to stamp!!! Great cards! I love the father's day one!
Is it silly to say Clear Mount even though I don't have any yet? I had to take a year off because of an auto immune disease, Reactive Arthritis and I rejoined at the end of March. But I have had a bunch of health set backs so I haven't gotten going yet and haven't been able to afford to buy any blocks and sets. I am excited to line up names and words on the blocks, to be able to see where I am stamping without planning it out with the stamp-a-ma-jig. I am excited to be able to store them like books and have the names and images on the cover!! My customers from previous classes and camps will love this when I get it to them. Hopefully soon! I love Cottage Wall too. It made me wish I had joined up again earlier!! So I could have played with it all year. Beautiful cards! I love how totally creative they each are and the thought you put into each creation.
